Sounds familiar but not to be literally taken as "Shop
till you Drop" :)
We will all walk right on through childhood, adolescence, and
into adulthood, but may have probably stopped walking so much somewhere along
the line. In fact, the percentage of adults who spent most of their day sitting
increased from 36.8% in 2000 to 39.9% in 2005!
Hectic, stressful life, life transformations from
escalators to remote controls to riding lawn mowers to robotic vacuum cleaners
are all contributors.
There are reasons to believe walking is good as
proven in studies because it strengthens
your heart, good for your brain & bones, reduces the risk of breast and
colon cancer, improves fitness & physical function. A closer look at the picture below can stand attest
& affirm the benefits of walking.
This is why we are made to walk, to be always pressing these pressure point & keeping our system activated throughout!
